The Purist Villas & Spa

The Purist Villas and Spa is a Ubud small Boutique hotel resort, where each suite of two and three rooms has an indoor and outdoor bathroom with a free standing stone bath and separate shower, Some of them have wooden sundecks hanging over the Ubud lush tropical gardens of bamboo palm trees and other special plants. These decks have an outdoor dining area and comfortable sun loungers from where one can enjoy this little paradise. Three of the villas have their own private pools with a separate Gazebo (Balinese hut) with mattresses and cushions, A pure bliss.The suites are housed in series of seven unique and private villas fusing five-star luxury and modernity with authentic primitive and traditional elements from several islands of Indonesia. Some of the houses come from other islands such as Java and Timor These huge former huts are at the inside transformed into real designers hideaways, using pebble stone floorings and smooth cement walls, while at the outside it shows all the typical woodcarvings and other features used in some island. Four villas have a more minimal style with Balinese artifacts, white limestone floorings and with some walls made of recycled wood. This Bali Ubud living complex is nothing less than sheer indulgence.

GARDEN VILLA

This villa with pool has a modern Balinese style, and is surrounded by bamboo walls and a tropical garden. It has a king size bed with a fantastic view through  a whole wall of glass doors which can be opened completely, and is leading directly onto this pool with sundeck and two double sun loungers. The limestone bathroom has a stone bathtub and half open air shower room.

The Garden villa is part of the “Garden Residence”. It can be connected with the Timor house.

TIMOR VILLA

This is a large antique wooden house from the island of Timor. It has been completely renovated with modern features for optimum comfort. It has a master bedroom with four-poster king size bed and a separate living room that is big enough for a single bed. One side of the living room has doors that open onto a big sundeck with views over the lush tropical reserve and “The Purist villas” situated on the lower levels of the estate. A small path leads you directly to the huge main pool of THE PURIST.
The bathroom has a covered outdoor area with a stone bathtub and separate shower.

The Timor Villa is part of the Garden Residence. It can be connected with the Garden Villa

RIVER VILLA

River villa 1 has a sophisticated   minimal design and are decorated with Balinese artefacts and objects. River villa 1 has a king size bed. The ensuite circle shaped bathroom make you feel like you are in your own spa. One part is half-open . It has a separate shower and features a stone bathtub. The bedroom has its own sundeck with impressive views  to  huge palm trees.

River villa 2 has a sophisticated   minimal design and are decorated with Balinese artefacts and objects. River villa 2 has a king size bed, which can be changed into twin beds. The bathroom has an impressive half open air and round shaped shower . The bedroom has its own sundeck with views to huge palm trees.

A small river almost runs through a separate half-open living with lounge sofas, which may only be used by the guests of the two “River villas”. A small path is directly leading you to the huge main pool of THE PURIST.

They both feature a minimal but sophisticated design with Balinese artifacts and objects.

JUNGLE VILLA

This modern Balinese style villa is located on the other side of the main pool and has direct access to this pool alongside the river running through the estate. It overlooks the lush jungle on the other side of the river deep below and therefore you enjoy the sound of flowing water.

The villa has a four-poster king size bed and a royal bathroom featuring a small goldfish pond. This half open spa-like bathroom is an ideal place for guests who prefer treatments in the villa. Glass doors open onto a half open living.

The  bedroom has an extra sofa bed and can sleep up to three people.

BAMBOO VILLA

This villa has its own pool with a waterfall to the lower level where the Spa and Yoga buildings are situated. There is a master bedroom with an indoor/outdoor bathroom and a small living area with an extra sofa bed which is partly separated from the bedroom by a bookcase. Therefore this villa can sleep up to three people.

On the other side of the pool is a Bale-like lounge and dining area, with a wooden sundeck between the Bale and the villa. The whole garden is surrounded by natural stone walls and lots of beautiful yellow bamboo.

HILL VILLA

This big wooden antique house from the island of Timor has been completely redesigned and is laid out over two floors. On the lower level, there is grey pebble stone flooring and the walls are a mix of wood and beige limestone. Here you will find the twin bedroom which easily can be turned into a second bedroom with king size bed. This room can also be used as the perfect spot for a siesta as the room has glass doors which open up directly onto the pool area.

The master bedroom is on the upper level and has a four poster king size bed.

The two rooms are connected by a five meter high living room with an “alang-alang” roof. This is a typical Balinese roof woven in straw. The two rooms share an indoor/outdoor bathroom with a stone bathtub and separate shower room.

The living room has glass doors on two sides opening onto a wooden sun deck with a covered dining area. As this impressive house is built on a hill, it has an open view but with total privacy created by the lush tropical garden.

RIVER RESIDENCE
This Residence comprises two villas, which can be connected by a half-open living room with lounge sofas and an extra big sundeck with a dining table. It has a small
pantry . This residence can sleep up to 4 people

GARDEN RESIDENCE
The Garden villa and The Timor house can be connected.  Therefore this residence can sleep up to 4/5 people. The Timor house has at the other side of its living room big  carved wooden doors that can be opened onto the pool area of the Garden villa.
