When you alight at the Ngurah Rai International Airport and take a taxi from there, you will reach Kuta in a span of 15 minutes. In fact, a number of people, who don’t have a lot of baggage to carry along, prefer to take a walk from the airport to the town. There are buses from different parts of Bali that come to Kuta. This mode of travel is preferred by people on a budget holiday and would like to cover all important places in Bali.

Tourist attractions at Kuta

The main tourist spot at Kuta is the white sandy beach that it is famous for. You can indulge in a number of activities here. The Kuta beach is a favorite of people who love surfing, wakeboarding, swimming, kite flying and sun bathing. You can never experience a single dull moment in this fun filled place. The next most visited place in Kuta is the Hard Rock Cafe. The most visited spot is the Bali Bomb memorial that was built to commemorate the lives of people who were killed in the two major bomb blasts that rocked Kuta. The first bombing took place on 12th October 2002 killing over 200 people. The second bombing took place on 1st October 2005 killing over 25 people.
