Well positioned - in the fashionable district of Seminyak - and situated on a quiet backstreet adjacent to Seminyak Beach, Villa Africa is a few minutes walk from the many fabulous bars and restaurants located in the same area. This distinctive villa is only 15 minutes from the international airport and 5-minutes from the busy shopping districts at Kuta and Legian.

Villa Africa - or The Africa House as it has come to be known - is made up of a unique compound of independent circular-shaped huts that are positioned around a large oasis style swimming pool. Set amidst clusters of tall coconut trees, shady banana palms and pebble stone rock gardens this simplistic yet fully featured private residence offers a visual impression of being somewhere between Bali and tribal Africa.

Main house consists of an open living room and kitchen, three circular shaped guest bungalows each with a bedroom and an open bathroom. All the villas have traditional thatched roofs. Next to the pool there is an outdoor dining area for all your meals.

Each pavilion consists of a terrazzo floor, natural teakwood furnishings, louvered plantation shutters and a high thatched roof ceiling, while the d cor has been carefully balanced with natural tones of wood and stone with eye-catching contrasts of green, yellow and orange.

Within the open-panned living pavilion is a large built-in sofa area with brightly coloured cushions, several wooden loungers and teakwood furnishings. Small alcove shelves are carved into the main wall, which contain miniature wooden Indonesian figurines and ornaments. A fully equipped kitchen is accessed via an open-air walkway at the far end of the space that is flanked by pebble stone rock gardens. The kitchen has a small breakfast table while the formal dining area is located at the opposite end of the pool deck - under a huge shaded pavilion which doubles as a massage deck that overlooks the pool and villa.

3 separate air-conditioned double bedrooms all with equal facilities overlook a large sun-drenched deck, swimming pool and rock gardens. They feature a canopied double bed with striking coloured linen, built-in stone wardrobes/shelf units and a small teakwood cupboard. A stylish en-suite vanity area is positioned behind a half wall at the end of each room with access to an outside shower area via a set of double wooden doors.

This home has an ultimate open tropical style and decorated with an African touch. You will stay within walking distance from the trendy beach club KuDeTa and La Luciola and many other famous restaurants.

Villa Africa is a great place to be close to it all and still be secluded in a nice quiet area with the best comfort.
